Feed2post v3.0rc1:
Soon we will have it on air, we are currently working on it and will be ready by mid or end of May 2011.
The new features include:
- Better and improved Source loading GUI
- Multiple parsers support (currently RSS and TWITTER timeline gathering are implemented, but we are planning a News ML parser and Facebook Wall Parser )
- Multiple storage options, you can store imported content into standard Joomla articles, Zoo Content, soon K2 content and Mighty Resources Content elements.
- New parser library for RSS, as simplepie was using too much memory, we went back to Magpie, with smaller memory footprint...
- Optimized MVC code, almost ready for 1.6 migration, 100% Joomla 1.5 Native, Joomla 1.0 support was dropped.
We are planning the following features for the next release:
- Joomla 1.6 native support.
- Templates for content formatting, it will allow you to put each source with a different formatting if you want, e.g. put a template with images related to the news type you are filtering...
- News ML parser.
- Facebook Wall Parser.
- K2 content storage
- Mighty Resources content storage.
- Better SEO options.

Feed2post 2.7.2:- New feature to allow the author storage as text or author alias.
Feed2post common changes:- Bugfx to allow feedburner feeds to work with f2p, you need to add the "?format=xml" to the end of the url.
- Author gathering bugfix, sometimes f2p didn't get the author name right even when the feed had an author completelly set.

Feed2post changelog. Version 2.6 & 1.8 (start of log): - Feeds can be fetched using CURL or FSockopen (depends on your hosting support).
- You can set an advertising script/text per each RSS source.
- Link back can be configured to be entered or not
- Items can have a title to identify them on the RSS sources list.
- Articles are filtered using keywords and negative keywords.
- The joomla's posting user can be configured at each RSS source.
- Posted articles can be set to expire (unpublish) and the length of its publication time can be set from 7 days to 1 Year.
- Articles can be posted to show on frontpage
- Original RSS article source date can be inserted (selectable per Source).
- Link back can be opened on a IFRAME with your site style applied to it (by editing the template file).
- Original RSS article source date can be used as joomla article creation date.
- You can select in which section/category you need to store the posted articles.
- Full text gathering is supported for feeds that have full text on them (<content> tags in the source).
- You can cut the article at a certain tag, allowing the first part to be the intro and the rest becomes the main article text.
- Supports https RSS sources
- Supports authenticated sources (with username and passwords, only if using CURL).
- You can import all content with one click (by clicking Post All)
- You can import content by hand, clicking the items menu and then selecting the content articles that you want to post.
Core enhancements: - Article duplicating is avoided by using the GUID tag of the feed.
- Post All enhanced to use less resources.
